Medico ostetrico
Laureatosi in Medicina a Torino nel 1873, quattro anni più tardi ottenne in quello stesso Ateneo la libera docenza in Ostetricia.
Primo assistente all'Istituto ostetrico milanese (1878); professore straordinario alla Clinica ostetrica di Modena (1879); professore ordinario alla Clinica ostetrica di Pavia (1882).
Estensore del Regolamento per l'assistenza al parto (1887), scrisse numerose opere di carattere scientifico tra cui il Trattato di ostetricia e ginecologia, pubblicato postumo.
Nel 1887 ideò e diresse il Giornale per le levatrici e nel 1890 fu tra i fondatori della Rivista di ostetricia e ginecologia.
Una lapide e un busto di Troubetzkoy lo ricordano all'Università di PAvia (1899)
A lui è intitolata una via di Suna.

Doctor - obstetrician
Graduated in Medicine in Turin in 1873, le later obtained in that same Athenaeun free lectures in Obstetrics four years later.
First assistant to the Milan Obstetrical Institute (1878); extraordinary university professor to the Clinical obstetrician of Modena (1879); ordinary university professor to the Clinical obstetrician of Pavia (1882).
Drafter of the Regulations for the assistance to delivery (1887), wrote numerous works of scientific character of which the Treaty of Obstetrics and Gynecology , published posthumous.
In 1887 he devised and directed the Journal for the Obstetricians and in 1890 was on of the founders of the Review of Obstetrics and Gynecology .
A commemorative plaque and bust of Troubetzkoy remembers him at the University of Pavia (1899)
And a road in Suna was named after him.
